The Chiaramonte BESS project is located adjacent to the Chiaramonte Gulfi 150kv substation 15km from Ragusa in Sicily in South Italy.  It is on a 6.27 acre ( 2.5 hectare) plot of land and it’s proposed capacity is 76mw/ 204mwh. The site is predominantly agricultural.  An application for authorisation was prepared and submitted to the Sicilian Department of Energy in July 2024.
