Managing Director
Vickram Mirchandani
Vickram is the Bia Italia Managing Director and has 20 years of experience in clean energy development.
Vickram and his team have developed wind, solar, and battery projects in Italy and the United Kingdom. He leads all stages of the development cycle from site origination to Ready to Build sales. He was educated at Boston University in the United States and has business experience in the UK, US, Italy and west Africa. Institutional acquirers of previous clean energy projects developed by the Bia Directors include Infrared Capital, Glennmont Partners, Gresham House & Field Energy.
Vickram originated the Joint Venture with Eren Industries for building and retaining the Italian BESS sites. Bia’s current Italian developments will now be managed and retained for operations long term. The initial target was to develop and build up to 750mw of battery projects in Italy over the next 5 years. Bia has already surpassed this target with 7 sites in the JV. Vickram has a wife and family and is based in the UK.
Group Finance & Administration Director
Lorenzo Zeppieri
Lorenzo Zeppieri is the Group Finance & Administration Director of Bia Power, with responsibility for the financial management, administration and corporate governance of the Group’s operations in Italy.
Based in Rome, Lorenzo graduated in Business Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University, one of Italy’s leading universities for economics and business. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has built a successful professional practice advising companies, entrepreneurs and international investors on corporate finance, taxation, accounting, business administration and cross-border commercial activities.
Lorenzo has extensive experience in financial planning, cash flow management, budgeting, corporate administration and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career he has supported businesses through periods of growth, investment and strategic development, providing practical financial leadership and helping to maintain robust financial controls.
At Bia Power, Lorenzo oversees the Group’s finance and administrative functions, including treasury management, banking operations, budgeting, financial reporting and cash flow forecasting. He also plays an important role in supporting the Group’s capital raising activities, working closely with the Managing Director and external advisers to prepare financial models, manage investor due diligence and assist with debt and equity financing processes.
Lorenzo has been closely involved in supporting the development of Bia Power’s rapidly expanding portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage projects in Italy, as well as the Group’s wider infrastructure and energy transition initiatives.
His combination of technical financial expertise, corporate governance experience and commercial understanding provides a strong foundation for Bia Power’s continued growth as an international developer of energy infrastructure and clean technology projects.

Shuves Mukherji
Shuves Mukherji is a Chartered Accountant trained by Price Waterhouse. He is a Co-Founder of Bia Power and has played a central role in the company’s development from its inception. As a Non-Executive Board Member of Bia Power Italia, he provides strategic oversight, commercial guidance and governance support as the company expands its utility-scale battery energy storage portfolio across Italy.
With an entrepreneurial background spanning manufacturing, mining, infrastructure and business development, Shuves has extensive experience in identifying new market opportunities, building strategic relationships and supporting the growth of high-potential businesses. Since co-founding Bia Power, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s long-term vision and supporting its growth into an international energy storage developer.
Working closely with management and the Board, Shuves contributes to corporate strategy, business development and stakeholder engagement. His experience in establishing commercial partnerships and supporting capital growth helps strengthen Bia Power Italia’s ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects and create long-term value for shareholders and project partners.

Evarist Granata
Evarist Granata is a highly experienced infrastructure investor and private capital executive with more than 20 years’ experience across energy, environmental infrastructure, private equity, structured finance and alternative investments.
He is Founder and Managing Director of Alternative Capital Partners SGR, an Italian asset management company focused on sustainable infrastructure and impact investing. He also serves as Head of Private Capital – Energy Infrastructure, where he leads infrastructure investment area across renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), biomethane, energy efficiency and other strategic infrastructure sectors.
During his career, Evarist has been involved in the structuring, financing and management of numerous private capital and infrastructure investments. His expertise spans investment strategy, fund management, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and the development of long-term institutional investment platforms supporting the energy transition. Prior to founding Alternative Capital Partners, he spent six years with Arthur D. Little, advising leading industrial and infrastructure businesses on strategy, innovation and business transformation.
Evarist graduated in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and is a former member of the Private Debt Committee of AIFI (Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association). He is also a member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM).
As a Non-Executive Director of Bia Power Italia, Evarist provides independent strategic guidance to the Board, drawing on his extensive experience in infrastructure investing, institutional capital raising, corporate governance and the financing of energy transition projects. His appointment strengthens Bia Power Italia’s governance and reinforces the company’s relationships with institutional investors, infrastructure funds and strategic partners active in the European energy sector.

Jacobs advisory and consulting teams lead the permitting efforts on all the Bia sites. With a team of approximately 45,000, they provide services for Bia from their infrastructure, energy, environmental, transportation and water groups. The services focus on feasibility, planning, design, program and project lifecycle management, assisting Bia in creating a more connected and sustainable world.
ARC Associates - Financial Advisor
A private investment banking and corporate finance services group that has completed more than $6 billion of transactions and focuses for Bia on funding and structuring in the private markets for its renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
